Welcome back to school everyone! We know this beginning is not what everyone wanted or expected, but We Are Ivy Hill and together we will make it a great year! Every week I will post the PTA Happenings on our website in order to keep you aware of everything going on in the PTA world.
PTA MEETING: Please join us for our next meeting via zoom on Tuesday, September 29 @ 7pm, where you can learn all about PTA and the various committees. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Contact our PTA Co-Presidents Julie Soderna (julie@soderna.com) and Jennifer Sadowski (jenjen57@aol.com) with questions.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: The PTA runs so many wonderful events throughout the year that aren’t possible without parent volunteers. Although this year we will run fewer activities or have to reimagine them we still need your help! If you want to be a committee head, put your name here! Thanks for all of your support.
PTA MEMBERSHIP: It is not too late to join the Ivy Hill PTA. Membership ($12) includes a membership card and 2 log-ons to the online school calendar and directory. The PTA supports and organizes many different activities throughout the school year. This year will look a little different, but we plan to have fun activities regardless. I-FIVES GO TO: Welcoming Committee (Becky Foster, Katie Rausch, and Erin Ejnik) for creating special care packages for the incoming kindergarteners; and Connie Gonzalez for putting the supply kits together and getting them distributed. Thank you!
ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Please come Friday 4pm-5pm to Ivy Hill for a PTA sponsored ice cream treat. This is for Ivy Hill students only, and families will receive an Ivy Hill car magnet while supplies last.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: The next school board meeting is Tuesday, September 17th @ 7:30pm at the Dunton Administration Building.
