PLANTING DAY RESCHEDULED: Planting day for the Ivy Hill Gardens has been rescheduled for Thursday, 6/2. If you signed up to volunteer, you will receive additional instructions via email.

YEAR END THANKS: As we come to year end, the Ivy Hill PTA wants to thank all of our wonderful volunteers for everything they’ve done for the school and the PTA. Whether you’ve had to get creative with how an activity was planned, or you were bringing back an event we haven’t had over the past couple of years, your effort and dedication is greatly appreciated. We also want to thank our 5th grade families who will be leaving our Ivy community and wish them well. Thank you to the Ivy staff and teachers for your hard work, compassion, and cooperation this year. We value it all. To the teachers and staff leaving us this year, thank you for your years at Ivy. You will be greatly missed!  Have a great summer everyone and see you next year!

Just select 5/26 as the pick-up date and Ivy Hill Elementary School will show up as the pick-up location.

LET’S GET READY TO DO SOME GARDENING: Yes, all Ivy Hill students will get an opportunity to participate in the planting of the Ivy Hill garden plots on Wednesday, May 25 so please dress appropriately.  We will be planting a “Salsa Garden” as well as some gourds, sunflowers and other flowers.

I-FIVES: Thank you to Megan Cook and our Teacher Appreciation Week Committee, the volunteers who have helped out this week, as well as everyone that has participated in various activities too! You’ve all helped to make Teacher Appreciation Week a huge success for our Ivy Hill Teachers and Staff!
Thank you to Joelle Vena for putting together a group of volunteers to work during the staff lunch on Friday, so that the entire staff could enjoy their lunch together!
