GREAT AMERICA READ TO SUCCEED: Due to COVID-19, the 2021 Read to Succeed Program through Great America has been suspended. Unused tickets from 2020 will be valid until August 31st, 2021.

The PTA will be sponsoring a Coat, Mitten, and Hat drive from November 9th-November 13th.  In addition, you can also donate grocery store gift cards to help the many people who are in need! Just simply bring your donations to Ivy Hill when you drop off your child to school.   A volunteer will be at the drop off line to collect donations.  Or, if you prefer, please drop off your donations in the bin outside of Ivy Hill anytime between November 9th-13th.   Donations will be collected at the end of each school day.  Thank-you for your help!

STAN’S DONUT FOOD TRUCK: SAVE THE DATE FOR DONUTS! On Thursday, October 29th, we are hosting Stan’s Van, the food truck for Stan’s Donuts! It will be in the Ivy Hill parking lot from 5-7pm. We are utilizing Sign Up Genius to help us regulate the crowd and adhere to proper social distancing guidelines. Please sign up here for an arrival time. RED RIBBON WEEK: We will be hosting our Red Ribbon Week from October 26 – October 30. The Red Ribbon campaign was established to raise awareness about alcohol, tobacco, drugs, violence and bullying. We would love to have each student participate in the daily activities. Please see the schedule below:

PTA Happenings October 2 – October 8, 2020.

PTA MEETING: Please join us for our meeting on Wednesday, November 4th @ 7pm, where you can learn all about PTA and the various committees. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: The PTA runs so many wonderful events throughout the year that aren’t possible without parent volunteers. Although this year we will run fewer activities or have to reimagine them we still need your help! If you want to be a committee head, put your name here! Thanks for all of your support.

COMMUNITY AND FAMILY INVOLVEMENT: This is a great committee that helps our community and neighborhood though volunteerism and service.  In the past we have done a Hat, Coat, and Mitten Drive and a Food Drive, but let’s get creative and plan for the current community needs due to COVID.  Please consider joining and helping us give back to a community that gives so much!
