Welcome Ivy families!

PTA MEETING: The first PTA General Meeting is on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m in the LMC. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the PTA and its various committees. All parents/caregivers are invited and encouraged to attendSnacks will be served. Contact our PTA President Katie Taranda (ktaranda@gmail.com) with questions. We look forward to seeing you there! 


PICTURE DAY: Save the date! Picture Day is coming up on Friday 8/26/22! Order before Picture Day to receive free shipping to the school. Order online HERE. No cash or checks will be accepted the day of pictures. 

PICTURE DAY VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are needed to help with Picture Day on 8/26. Come on out and help our students look their best! Sign up Genius coming soon.

2nd ANNUAL PATIO PARTY – Saturday September 17th: Patio Parties are back again! Come out for a night of food, fun, making new friends, and catching up with old ones! We are currently recruiting homes to host this completely outdoor event (you only need to provide an indoor space for bathroom breaks). You can also purchase your tickets to attend the event here. PTA MEMBERSHIP: It is not too late to join the Ivy Hill PTA. Membership ($12) includes a membership card and 2 log-ons to the online school calendar and directory.  The PTA supports and organizes many different activities throughout the school year, including Movie Night, Fun Fair, Field Day, Chess Club, and many, many more. I-FIVES: Welcome Week Volunteers: Katie Rausch, Franki Jo Beckwith, and Megan Martin, for helping to make our new kindergarten families and the families new to our school in all grades feel so welcome. Supply Kit Committee and Volunteers: Connie GonzalezKim Eckert, Shannon Diederich, and Mary Crystal Costantini, for putting the supply kits together and getting them distributed. Ice Cream Social Coordinator and Volunteers: Erin Lakomski, Laura Ackley, Megan Martin, Siobhan Ricciardi, Franki Jo Beckwith, Katie Rausch, Maggie Politewicz, and Sara Morrison Mungovan, for helping to distribute all of those yummy treats to our students at the Ice Cream Social.

Thank you so much volunteers! We couldn’t do it without you! 

NEXT SCHOOL BOARD MEETING:  August 23rd @ 7:00 p.m., the Dunton Administration Building.
