We would like to thank our staff at Ivy Hill, they seem to have that special skill… of teaching and nurturing, caring and sharing.  Their selflessness and dedication tell us they need winter vacation. We are lucky to have them in our lives, we give them all I-Fives! Please take a glance below, if we could, we would wrap Ivy Hill love with a bow.

PANDEMIC RELIEF COMMITTEE: On behalf of all the students and parents from Ivy Hill,  The PTA will be honoring our amazing teachers and staff with monthly thank-you treats as an appreciation for all they do for our children.

HOLIDAY GIFT SHOP: Our virtual holiday shop is now open until 12/15!  Click here to shop!

HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR TEACHERS:   If you are planning to give your teacher a holiday gift this year, please bring it to school on either 12/17 or 12/18.  The school needs to minimize in-building activity. If you are a remote learner, there will be a table set up in the Commons for you to place your gift.  If you are a hybrid learner, please give the gift directly to your teacher.  Thank-you!

PTA MEETING: Please join us for our next PTA meeting on Tuesday, January 12th @ 7pm, where you can learn all about PTA and the various committees. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Contact our PTA Co-Presidents Julie Soderna (julie@soderna.com) and Jennifer Sadowski (jenjen57@aol.com) with questions.

AMAZONSMILE: Support the Ivy Hill PTA through AmazonSmile! If you’re an Amazon user, you can make a difference while you shop on Amazon. There’s a new, easy way for you to support the Ivy Hill PTA! Before you start your shopping, go to  https://smile.amazon.com/ch/36-3673393 and confirm that you would like to support the Ivy Hill PTA. Then just shop as you normally would, and the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the PTA. No additional work necessary! Please contact Katie Taranda if you have any questions (ktaranda@gmail.com). Thanks!

STRESS FREE FUNDRAISER: The stress-free fundraiser is BACK, now with PAPERLESS and CONTACT-FREE payment options! The PTA is working hard to deliver fun events and activities for the kids this year, while adhering to social distancing and safety guidelines. When the pandemic days are over, we will plan many more fun activities for the kids, so fundraising now is important! We can’t do it without your help! Please consider making a donation – any amount is appreciated. This link provides the option to pay via credit/debit card or echeck. If you prefer to pay via cash or physical check, please send payment to the school office in an envelope marked “Stress Free”. Please contact Kari Rosczyk (kari.rosczyk@gmail.com) with questions.

RECYCLE HOLIDAY LIGHTS: Once again we are recycling holiday lights. The weeks of December 14th – 18th and  January 11th – 15th.  Please bring in any old and broken holiday lights.  We will have collection boxes outside the front entrance of Ivy Hill and/or in the Commons area.

THROWN ELEMENTS: The PTA has partnered up with local businesses to help bring some fun to the kids at Ivy Hill.  Thrown Elements is first!  Additional information to come shortly regarding how your child can participate.

EXECUTIVE BOARD OPEN POSITIONS: We have a few open positions for the 2021/2022 school year:  both Co-Presidents, Secretary, 2nd VP, and 3rd VP. Please begin to consider who you would like to nominate for these roles.

YEARBOOK PICTURE SUBMISSIONS: Please submit yearbook pictures to Christy Smith  Delilah327@yahoo.com
