MOVIE NIGHT COMMITTEEIVY HILL MOVIE NIGHT for K-2nd grade is Friday, March 9 at 6:15p.m. The students have voted to watch, “Moana.” Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and the movie will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:15 p.m. Come and join the fun!!! Cost is $5 for a prepaid ticket or $7 at the door. Permission Slips are coming home soon. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring a sleeping bag, pillow and their favorite stuffed animal to enjoy the movie. BOXTOPS COMMITTEE:  Boxtops Raffle!  It’s easy, just clip your Boxtops and place them in an envelope or bag with your child’s name on it.  Submit the Boxtops to your child’s teacher by February 28th to win a fun poster.  Don’t forget to write your child’s full name on the bag.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS COUNCIL OF PTAs:  District 25 PTA Council approved a new committee called “A.C.E. it 25” (All Children Excel). The committee will focus on supporting children with special needs and their families. Goals of the committee are to promote disability awareness, facilitate inclusion at PTA functions and create a parent support network. Each school will have a liaison who would attend PTA meetings and act as a point of contact should questions arise. The liaison would also communicate parent requests or concerns to the school PTA.
