GARDEN COMMITTEE:  It’s Salsa tasting time!  As you may recall, your children helped plant a Salsa garden in the spring.  Now that it’s harvest time, your children will have the opportunity to sample some of the lovely vegetables they planted such as tomatoes, onions, green, jalapeno and Serrano peppers in a salsa we will be serving with chips during lunch on Wednesday, 9/27.

Don’t forget PICTURE DAY is September 26, 2017.

STRESS-FREE FUNDRAISER:  Back by popular demand!!!  Our “Stress Free Fundraiser” was so successful last year, that we are doing it again this year!  This year, it is the only fall fundraiser we are doing, so please consider participating!  Like last year, we are striving for each family to donate 3 hours of your time and $30 towards our fundraising efforts.  Our PTA sponsors many great activities throughout the year, and we can’t do it without your time and money!  Remember all donations towards our Stress Free Fundraiser are tax deductible, and 100% of the money you donate will go towards the great activities sponsored by our PTA!  If you have any questions, please contact Caroleen Guiwargis at cguiwargis@yahoo.com or Kelly Nix at Kelly.nix630@gmail.com

REFLECTIONS:  This year’s Reflections theme is:  Within Reach!  To participate there are a few easy steps…

  1. Turn in your student interest form into the office.
  2. The rules and entry form will then be sent to you.
  3. Create using dance, music, writing, film, photography and/or visual arts!
  4. Turn in your project by October 27th!
  5. Let your creativity be recognized and acknowledged!
