I-FIVES: Welcome Week Volunteers: Katie Rausch, Franki Jo Beckwith, and Megan Martin, for helping to make our new kindergarten families and the families new to our school in all grades feel so welcome. Supply Kit Committee and Volunteers: Connie Gonzalez, Kim Eckert, Shannon Diederich, and Mary Crystal Costantini, for putting the supply kits together and getting them distributed. Ice Cream Social Coordinator and Volunteers: Erin Lakomski, Laura Ackley, Megan Martin, Siobhan Ricciardi, Franki Jo Beckwith, Katie Rausch, Maggie Politewicz, and Sara Morrison Mungovan, for helping to distribute all of those yummy treats to our students at the Ice Cream Social.

FIELD DAY!: Field Day is 6/1 (rain date 6/2) and it’s going to be a hot one! We still need more donations of water balloons, bags of ice, and bottles of water. Click here to sign up! If you’ve signed up to volunteer in person, please make sure you can attend the rain date of 6/2. Make sure to apply sunscreen to your kiddos in the morning! You may also want to pack a change of clothes for them since there will be water activities to help keep them cool. It should be a great day!

PLANTING DAY RESCHEDULED: Planting day for the Ivy Hill Gardens has been rescheduled for Thursday, 6/2. If you signed up to volunteer, you will receive additional instructions via email.

YEAR END THANKS: As we come to year end, the Ivy Hill PTA wants to thank all of our wonderful volunteers for everything they’ve done for the school and the PTA. Whether you’ve had to get creative with how an activity was planned, or you were bringing back an event we haven’t had over the past couple of years, your effort and dedication is greatly appreciated. We also want to thank our 5th grade families who will be leaving our Ivy community and wish them well. Thank you to the Ivy staff and teachers for your hard work, compassion, and cooperation this year. We value it all. To the teachers and staff leaving us this year, thank you for your years at Ivy. ABC/25 GET BURBED CHALLENGE: The ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge will take place on Saturday, April 30th at South Middle School. You have the option of running or walking either 1 mile or 3 miles.
